Prince Tyler Welborn is the son of Krewe members Jeff and Ashley Welborn.  He is a Freshman at Benton High School. 

 

Though Tyler has participated in many sports throughout the years, football, basketball, and baseball, his main focus is golf.  Having qualified for regional and state tournaments last year, this year Tyler participated in the Front 9 Tour, where he played in competitive tournaments each week.   His goal is to be on the Benton High School Golf Team and continue playing golf throughout college.

 

In Tyler’s spare time, he enjoys golfing, boating, wake surfing, hunting, fishing, camping, racing, and spending time with family and friends.  He is also a member of the Simple Church.  Tyler discovered Mardi Gras when he rode the teen float in the 2022 Krewe of Gemini Parade and feel in love with it.  He is excited about being a Gemini Prince.
