Stacy Trant Smith is a lifelong native of the Ark-La-Tex.  She received her nursing degree from Northwestern State University and has since dedicated her life to the areas of women's health and labor and delivery.  Stacy enjoys empowering families by teaching them how to care for themselves and their newborns.  While being a part of the Willis Knighton family, she has been honored to be a part of the Healthcare Heroes Campaign and has worked on other hospital committees.  She also enjoys volunteering for the Red River Revel Music Committee.

 

Stacy has three children that she is very proud of and an amazing grandson that she is obsessed with.  When she is not obsessing over her grandson, she is a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan, likes to travel, attend concerts, and spend time with family and friends.  It was at a concert that Stacy met the love of her life, John, who’s only flaw was being a Dallas Cowboys fan.  They have been blissfully married for six years except for three hours every football season when the Saints play the Cowboys.

 

Stacy joined the Krewe of Gemini in 2015 and has loved every part of it but Parade Day is her favorite.  She enjoys celebrating Mardi Gras with the crowds.  Stacy is not only excited to wear a tiara, but is deeply honored to represent the Krewe of Gemini XXXIV as the Duchess of Louisiana.
