The Parade Committee is pleased to report that on October 11 the Shreveport City Council voted unanimously to authorize Mayor Glover to enter a new ten year parade contract with the Krewe of Gemini.  In the administrative meeting on the 10^th, Mayor Glover praised the efforts of our Krewe and vowed his support to the parades and keeping the neighborhood route as it is now.

Our thanks go to the entire City of Shreveport Special Events Task Force, Shelly Ragle, the City Council and Mayor Glover for their continued commitment to ten more years of Mardi Gras success in the Ark-La-Tex.
