Gemini XXI Royalty — Dukes & Duchesses
— Duke of Arkansas XXI Matt Vienne —
The Duke of Arkansas Matt moved to the Shreveport area sixteen years ago to play baseball for Bossier Parish Community College. While at BPCC, he majored in Criminal Law. However, he took a job at an oil facility where he’s been employed for eleven years and is the terminal manager.
The Duke of AR and his wife Mona are both Krewe members. They have four beautiful children: Chase (14), Makensie (8), Zachary (6), and Joshua (2).
He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting, camping, and exercising.
Matt has been in the Krewe of Gemini for two years and he looks forward to being a part of the Gemini XXI Royalty.

The Duchess of Arkansas Kelly moved around often in her childhood, but since 1977 she has called Shreveport/Bossier her home. She grew up in Bossier and went to college at LA Tech in Ruston. She graduated in 1992 with honors in Elementary Education, and has been teaching English for seventeen years. She is currently a 7th grade English teacher at Caddo Middle Magnet. She has taught in both the Bossier and Caddo Parishes systems.
She is married to Dr. Robbie Wise and they have two beautiful children. They have a son, Jacob who is nine, and a daughter, Lauren, who is seven. For family time, she loves to go to the beach, go snow skiing, visit with family, and swimming. When they can, they take the children for bike rides or walks.
Kelly and her husband joined the Krewe five years ago. Kelly has helped with the Silent Auction/Coronation Ball and attended many events with the Krewe of Gemini. She is looking forward to this as serving in the role of Duchess will be the biggest responsibility she has taken on since joining the Krewe of Gemini.

The Duke of Arkansas, Michael, was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He’s a graduate of Baylor University, the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and the LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport. He’s been a General Surgeon in Bossier City for 10 years. His Hobbies include hunting, fishing, vacationing, wine tasting/collecting, and spending valuable time with his lovely wife (and your Duchess of Texas XXI) Shannon and their son Victor. He has been a member of the Krewe of Gemini for four years and has loved every minute of it!

Our Duchess of Louisiana for Gemini XXI, Shannon, was raised in Bossier City, and is a graduate of Parkway High School. She’s been a Registered Nurse for seventeen years and has been married to the Duke of Louisiana for eight years. She has one son, Victor, and is the proud aunt of niece Rachel.
Shannon has been a member of the Krewe of Gemini for four years and she currently serves as a member at large on the Gemini Board and as a Float Lieutenant. Her favorite hobbies include the Krewe, cooking, wine, travel, photography, and spending quality time with family and friends.

The Duke of Texas for Gemini XXI, Herb, was born in Jena, Louisiana. He Graduated from Jena High in 1968 and was awarded a Baccalaureate Degree in Marketing and Business from Louisiana Tech in 1972. That same year he moved to Shreveport/Bossier.
Our Duke has been in the banking industry now for thirty years. He currently serves as a Business Loan Officer for Carter Federal Credit Union. He has two sons, Jeff (26) and Andrew (13). He travels extensively with son Andrew who plays soccer in elevated skills league, with games played in several states throughout the South.
Our Duke has been a member of the Krewe of Gemini for the past six years and served as its Secretary and is a Float Lieutenant.

The Duchess of Texas for Gemini XXI, Debbie, is a lifelong resident of Minden, Louisiana. She is the youngest of four sisters.
She is a graduate of Minden High School and is the proud mother of two daughters: Dusty is an Elementary School Principal, and Kaitlyn is still in High School. She is referred to as “Meme” by her adorable granddaughter.
Our Duchess is a member of the Human Rights Committee for Evergreen and a Member of the First Baptist Church in Minden.
She has been a very active member of the Krewe of Gemini for 4 years. She enjoys traveling with family and special friends, activities with the Krewe, and spending time at her lake house.
